Teen Stable after Struck by a Vehicle

The 13-year-old bicyclist rode into the path of a motorist on Cooks Hill Road, Tuesday.

A 13-year-old boy was taken to a hospital after he was struck by a vehicle, Tuesday. Officials with the Highway Patrol say Clarence Oyer was driving eastbound on Cooks Hill Road at 5:25pm when the child, who was on a bicycle and northbound in a private drive, traveled onto the road and into the path of Oyer. As a result, the teen was struck.

He was taken to Adena hospital by squad and is in stable condition.
