The Pioneer Center will be managing special needs preschool services for Chillicothe City Schools for the 2012-2013 school year. Pioneer Center Superintendent Rick Marriot said kids ages 3-5 who are suspected of having a disability and are living in the Chillicothe City School district are elligible.

Students will see more speech, music therapy, and behavioral services, as well as a change in location to the early childhood center.

"They'll be able to benefit from being in a new facility with the extra resources that we have to give to them," Marriot said.
