So, when you live in the hills of the Pike Lake State Park Region... how do you get home when there's road construction? You go around it, of course.

Dan says "You'll notice dirt and gravel road... but no guard rails. One day this week I was stopped by a deer, sideways garbage truck (picking up a dumpster) and a horse "free ranging it" along the roadway... all in the same trip!!! People in town always ask why I live out there... easy to answer when you sit on the back porch and just "listen" to the surroundings at night. No hustle & bustle... and now that Fredneck's opened up the road, I'm just 3 miles from a freshly baked pizza or sub! LOL"
