Beth Beatty - The Scioto Society
The outdoor drama Tecumseh! has been open for a week and Beth Beatty, Executive Director of The Scioto Society says it’s been a great week for the 39th season of the epic life story of the legendary Shawnee Chief Tecumseh and his struggles to unite the various tribes in an effort to drive the encroaching whites from their sacred homelands in the Ohio country during the late 1770’s. The outdoor drama has added an official Facebook fan page, allowing fans to ask questions of the actors and earn discounts on admission. Visit www.tecumsehdrama.com to access their Facebook page. Beatty adds there’s a hands on props workshop for kids age 7 and up coming in late July.
