37th Annual Plant Sale
The 37th annual Adena Women's Board Plant Sale is underway. Nancy Ames tells Dan Ramey the board is taking orders through April 2nd with delivery in time for Mother's Day. Some of the money raised goes to the Adena Hospital scholarship program. Some of the money goes to the children's fund which buys coloring books, crayons, and toys for children in the emergency room. And starting this year the board is committing money to fund the new cancer center healing garden. This garden is going to be a place where patients can plants, flowers, and fountains while receiving treatments. There will be benches to sit on and paths that will facilitate movement of equipment like IV drip stands that the patients will be using during treatments. To order, contact Ames at 740-772-6681.
