Chillicothe's Anthony Humpty Hitchens played professional basketball for BG Gottengen. While we didn't get to see him live, here's some highlights posted by Michael Kraft.
Dan & Mike in the Morning
Dan Ramey and Mike Smith were teamed together in May of 1994 when Dan returned to Chillicothe from six years of working in the Colmbus Market.
The two were friendly competitors in the 1980s. Mike began at WBEX in 1981 while Dan started his Chillicothe days in 1982 at the former WFCB.
Mike (a.k.a. The Most Trusted Name in News) is an Adena HS graduate.
Dan graduated from Teays Valley HS and the American School of Broadcasting.
Mike and wife Laura have one daughter, Sarah.
Dan and wife Missy have a son, Dan, Jr. and daughter-in-law Dee.

Paints Begin Week In 1st Place
After a 2-4 start, last week served the Chillicothe Paints well, who reeled off a 5-game winning streak. That streak ended in Richmond Sunday night with a 3-1 loss to the RiverRats.
After an off day Monday, the team gets back to action at VA Memorial Stadium Tuesday with the Butler Blue Sox.

Renaissance Singers In Studio!
Part of Chilllicothe's Renaissance Singers visited the studio Thursday to perform a couple of numbers for their concert this Sunday at St. Mary's Church. Dan Coates says the show starts at 2pm and there will be a love offering received for sheet music, Scioto Valley Habitat for Humanity and the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Dance Marathon Involves Chillicothe Kid
Unioto grad Johnna Uhrig is a sophomore at Ohio State and will be in a Dance Marathon tonight for Buckeyethon. The marathon will benefit Nationwide Children's Hospital. Help her out!
