The SVC Softball co-champs were heading in different directions in their respective district semis Wednesday
The Lady Pioneers of Zane Trace will have a tough challenge in their Division 3 District Softball title game Saturday as they face unbeaten Lucasville Valley.
Zane Trace beat Minford 8-2 Wednesday, while Valley topped Fairland 3-1 to set up the showdown at Unioto High School for 11am Saturday.
Elsewhere in Division 2, the news was not good for Unioto's lady Shermans. They saw their season come to a close with a 2-1 loss to Fairfield Union. Fairfield Union now faces Gallia Academy Friday at Northwest HS, following a 3-1 win over McClain.
