Soccer Officiating Classes are being offered at Shawnee State University.

A 25-hour class in Soccer Officiating, is being offered at Shawnee State University beginning Monday, Aug. 20.at the James A. Rhodes Athletic Center, Room 116 at SSU.

The classes will cover rules, regulations and mechanics and consist of classroom and on-field training. An online state test will be given at the conclusion of the class. Those who pass will be eligible to officiate high school soccer contests during the Fall 2012 soccer season.

The cost is $149 payable to SSU and $65 payable online to OHSAA at www.ohsaa.org
