Chillicothe seven other teams battle rain to start the day.
The Cavalier Golfers got their season underway Friday in the Greenfield McClain Invitational at Buckeye Hills Golf Club.
Chillicothe finished 5th out of 8 teams at the tournament. Coach Chris Pope says “It was a good start to the year for us, with our first contest of the season. There is a lot of room for improvement, and the conditions were tough today with rain in the morning and high winds in the afternoon. I think we can do better Monday at the Huntington Invitational.”
