The Chillicothe girls tennis team (1-1) beat Dublin Scioto 3-2, Friday. In first singles, Lady Cav Taylor Sprouse beat Prachi Bansal, of Dublin Scioto, 6-0, 6-2.  Chillicothe's Parisa Bennett defeated Jessica Xu, of Dublin Scioto, in second singles, 4-6, 7-6, 6-1. In third singles, Dublin Scioto's Susma Rai defeated Chillicothe's Liann VanVolkinburg, 6-2, 6-2.
 
The Lady Cavs' first doubles team of Courtney Berry and Ellen Schmitt defeated Medha Chovohary and Karishma Patel (DS), 6-4, 6-3.

In second doubles, Ratisha Pathmathasan and Cynthia Pathmathasan (DS) beat Tiffany Noel and Amanda Mares (CHS), 6-3, 6-4.

The next match is Saturday at home against Olentangy Orange.
