Home run slugger tabbed Prospect League All Star 1st Baseman.
Chillicothe Paints first baseman Giancarlo Burgnoni made the Prospect League’s annual Post-Season All-Star Team.
The results follow a balloting of the League’s 12 Managers held the last week of the recently concluded 2012 season, the 4th in the Prospect League’s young history.
Brugnoni, a sophomore at Grand Valley State, led the Prospect League with a record 20 home runs and 66 runs batted in while batting .311 for the summer.
The voting for League Manager of the Year ended in a tie with Dubois County rookie manager and Terre Haute baseball veteran Brian Dorsett.
