LE "D" Turns Tide in 2nd Half
Logan Elm blows open a close game with the help of great defense in their Friday win over Zane Trace

The Braves of Logan Elm held a 21-13 halftime lead over Zane Trace Friday, but the second half saw a 21-0 offensive explosion and a stellar defensive effort en route to a 42-13 win in Friday night football.

After yielding 176 yards rushing in the first half, the Braves held ZT to only 24 total yards in the second half. At the same time, LE was rolling-up 449 total yards offense. Logan Elm had good balance with 162 rushing yards and 287 in the air.

Skylar Zeller caught five passes for 106 yards for the Braves and Logan Thompson caught two TD's.

Dylan Scaggs led the Pioneers running attack with 123 yards on 7 carries, also scoring on a 52 yard sprint.
