Saxton Shines in 4 Years of Golf
Taylor Saxton has made an impressive mark in four years of high school golf

One of the areas top female high school golfers hopes to cap-off her high school career with a state title this fall. 

Logan Elm's Taylor Saxton in four years of Varsity Golf, medaled in every pre and post MSL tournament, was voted "Player of the Year" four times, first
team four times and this year medaled in every league dual match which made the team (12-0) in league this year.

Saxton is a three varsity sports star in high school, also playing basketball and softball.   

Her Mid State League nine hole average was 37.25. Last year, she was Southeast District Player of the Year and finished tied for 10th in the State Division 2 tournament which earned her second team All Ohio honors.

She will also be Academic All Ohio this year in golf.  She holds the team records for 9 holes (36) and 18 (77).  And is part of the team record for 9 holes (169) and 18 (353).

Last spring, Saxton helped lead Logan Elm to the D-2 State Softball Final Four.
