It was a very windy and chilly day of tennis in Hilliard.
Chillicothe Cav Taylor Sprouse played in the Division 1 Central District Tournament at Hilliard Davidson on Friday.
Taylor won her first match against Ashwatha Thenappan (Dublin Coffman) 6-4 6-3.
In the first set she was down 1-4, then came back to win the set 6-4.
In the second match she lost to 3 time state qualifier Ashley Thai (Hilliard Bradley) 6-1 6-1.
Ashley is a senior and seasoned high school player. She just played better than Taylor on Friday. Taylor had a great freshman year finishing with a record of 20-3.
