Huntington overcame a slow start for a straight set 25-23, 25-11, 25-16 win over Wheelersburg in the Division 3 District Volleyball Semifinals Tuesday. Huntington will now face Nelsonville York at 4pm Saturday for the district title after the Buckeyes beat Northwest 25-14, 25-16, 25-16.

Jackie Kellough of Huntington led all players with 20 kills and Dylana Gragg added 12 kills and 16 digs. Alayna Lytle led the defense with 23 digs. Halie Ingram had 31 assists.



The Pirates were led by Fay Proehl and Brooklyn Adams with 8 kills each.

Huntington improves to (15-8) while Wheelersburg concludes their season at (12-10).
