Saint Clairsville scores on first nine possessions to beat Redstreaks 59-27 Friday night.
The Piketon Redstreaks were unable to find an answer for the offense of Saint Clairsville Friday night falling 59-27 in round two of the Division 4 playoffs.
(12-0) Saint Clairsville scored on their opening nine possessions led by Jaylon Brown, who had six touchdowns and rushed for 185 yards on 11 carries. Matt Kinnick went 7/12 for 225 yards passing. The Red Devils finished the game with 492 total yards of offense.
For the Redstreaks, senior quarterback Issac Brabson went 17/32 for 167 yards. Stephen Royster rushed 20 times for 123 yards. The Redstreaks were able to get 22 first downs on the night, but were unable to contain the high powered offense of Saint Clairsville, which only needed 14 first downs.
Piketon finished the season with a (9-3) record. Saint Clairsville plays Johnstown Monroe in the regional finals next Friday, after they beat Ironton 42-7.
