The Chillicothe Wrestling team traveled to Nelsonville York Tuesday night to compete against Warren and Nelsonville York.

The Cavs won both duals to improve to 11-2 on the season in dual matches.

Chillicothe was able to bounce back from a defeat to Warren on December 20, 2012 to win the dual 43 to 30.

160 Pounds Christian Collins won by pin in 44 seconds over Miles.

170 Pounds Daiquan Hall won by pin in 1 minute and 42 seconds over Wayne Bailey.

195 Pounds Trevon Bond-Pennington won by forfeit.

220 Pounds Austin Mathis won by technical fall over Chris Massey 18 to 3.

126 Pounds Brandon Anderson won by forfeit.

132 Pounds Caleb Price won by forfeit.

138 Pounds Jacob Johansen won by major decision 14 to 4 over Cody Dobbs.

145 Pounds Jacob Price won by major decision 14 to 2 over Braden Hewitt.

Austin Mathis previously lost to Chris Massey of Warren. This time was able to control the entire match and score 5 team points with a technical fall.

Nelsonville York only has 8 wrestlers however every kid is very competitive. At 170 pounds Daiquan Hall faced off against returning Division 3 State Champion Zack Mays.

At 138 Pounds Jacob Johansen competed against Dakota Mays who placed sixth at State last season.

Christian Collins had a tough match against senior Mike Dailey. Christian was able to overcome earlier penalty points and some mistakes to win 11 to 9.
