The stage is now set for the crowning of an SVC girls basketball champion, as co-leaders Unioto and Adena won Thursday night to keep both teams tied for the conference lead heading into the title game Tuesday.

Adena crushed Westfall 69-27 Thursday while Unioto was beating Piketon 40-28 to put both teams at (11-1) in the SVC.

In their the January 3rd meeting in Frankfort, the Lady Warriors held-off a late Unioto charge for a 47-45 victory. Unioto has since gone unbeaten in the league, while Adena stubbed their toe at home against Zane Trace for their lone SVC loss.

The winner of the game will clinch at least a share of the title, with Adena hosting Paint Valley February 7th and Unioto closing at Westfall.
