500 career coaching wins is a milestone that few high school coaches ever attain, but it was realized Wednesday night in Greenfield, as the McClain Lady Tigers defeated Washington CH 54-49.

Coach Dennis Overstake says the players and parents involved in his 35 years of coaching the program have all played a role in this milestone.

The Tigers were led by Shania Massie with 21 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists. Tara Carnes chipped in 12 points. Overall Greenfield shot 14 for 47 from the floor and 19 of 22 from the free throw line including 11 of 14 in the 4th quarter. The Tigers held the rebounding advantage 24-14 with 12 offensive rebounds.

Greenfield improves to 7-7 in the SCOL and 10-11 overall.
