Summer Finley from Chillicothe High School earned a trip to the State Tournament with a 633 series
The High School District Bowling Tournament was held at Shawnee Lanes on Friday. Ross County was represented by Zane Trace Boys and Girls teams, Chillicothe Girls Team, and Jarred Zeisler the CHS boys qualifier.
Maysville’s Boys came in first place to qualify for State Tournament play, with Minerva a close second.
The individual boy’s qualifier for state was from Miami Trace bowling a 190-297-300 for a 787 series. Jarred Zeisler failed to qualify for State from Chillicothe.
Zanesville captured first in district play for the girls team to qualify for a trip to the State Tournament, with Minerva again coming in a close second place.
Chillicothe Girls ended up in 4th place, with Zane Trace ending up in 6th place. Summer Finley from Chillicothe High School earned a trip to the State Tournament with a 633 series.
Summer will see bowling action on Friday, March 1st. This will be her first trip to the State Bowling Tournament.
